Face the Grace
God's grace is a gift for you!
Forget religion. Jesus Christ wants you to have a relationship with Him and God His Father! God loves you just as you are, right now and right where you are.The Bad News
Sadly, soon after God created the world, the people whom He had made cut themselves off from Him by disobeying Him. The story is recorded in Genesis Chapter 3. This act of rebellion was how sin entered the world. Just like Adam and Eve, every single one of us has sinned, whether in thought, word or deed: '...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,'Romans 3 v 23 (NIV). Everyone was due to receive eternal punishment for disobeying God. Even though God loves us, He can't let us get away with our sins, otherwise there would be no justice. Instead, God wants us to turn away from our sin, ask for His forgiveness and be saved: 'The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.' 2 Peter 3 v 9 (NIV).
The Good News
God loves us so much He had a plan to rescue all of us. He did his part, but we also have to do ours. '"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."' John 3 v 16 (NIV). 'But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.' Romans 5 v 8 (NIV). God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ to earth as a man. Jesus was and is holy. He never sinned and always completely obeyed God His Father. Jesus did not need to be punished for any of His own sin, because He had no sin. This qualified Jesus to die for our sins. Jesus was crucified on the cross at Calvary. He died, but on the third day, God brought Him back to life! This is recorded in Matthew 27 and 28, Mark 15 and 16, Luke 23 and 24, John 19 and 20.
